We have a passion for Christ First
Based out of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Christ First Angels is a competitive AAU-style youth basketball club. The club was founded by Coach David Brown Senior, former Tulsa University basketball player, and graduate, who also played professionally in Europe, for fourteen years.
Coach Brown enjoys spreading the word of God to our youth, using the one thing he knows best, basketball. While using basketball to encourage a life of faith and teach the importance of education to our youth, Coach Brown strives to develop the character of young men and women so they will grow to become upstanding citizens of the community in their future.
With a diversity of players on the Christ First Angels roster, girls and boys get an opportunity to play together and form friendships with others of various ethnicities and backgrounds. This range in culture allows the players to realize everyone is equal under God, and naturally develop strong basketball and life skills.
We enforce a curriculum based on three underlying principles :
Christ First
2 TIMOTHY 2:15
Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that doesn’t need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
School & Family
Our curriculum enforces the importance of education by school and family. We recognize the dynamics of many kids households are very different, and as such, strong family like bonds are created at school and through extracurricular activities. Grades and effort are of utmost importance so we provide our students with an ACT/ SAT tutoring program through the school year in an effort to help transition to higher education.
PROVERBS 4:7
Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all your getting get understanding.

COLOSSIANS 3:17
And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
We do not recruit superstars … We make superstars.
Not looking for the elite … We are looking for those who want to be elite and work hard to get themselves there.
